About the Role
Control Panel Wirer - Contract Opportunity
Location: West Midlands – South of Birmingham
Contract Rate: £40 per hour
Duration: 4–6 weeks
Start: Immediate start
Urgent requirement for an experienced Control Panel Wirer to support a short-term engineering project.
You will be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels and enclosures from start to finish, working from electrical and electronic drawings.
Key duties will include:
- Building control panels and electrical enclosures from scratch
- Wiring panels from electrical/electronic drawings and schematics
- Fitting DIN rails, trunking and electrical components
- Cutting, drilling and modifying metal panel enclosures
- Fitting components and associated panel hardware
We are looking for someone who can work independently from drawings and complete full panel builds from initial enclosure preparation and metalwork through to final wiring.
