  • Mechanical installation and commissioning of bespoke machinery at customer sites worldwide
  • Global travel to support machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities

  • Supporting machine handover and ensuring equipment meets performance and quality expectations
  • Working closely with electrical, controls, and project teams during installations
  • Representing the business professionally when working on customer sites globally

About You

  • This role is suited to a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys international travel and hands-on engineering:
  • Strong mechanical engineering background within machinery, automation, or capital equipment
  • Experience in mechanical installation, assembly, or commissioning of machinery
  • Comfortable with extended periods of global travel (circa 20 weeks per year)
  • Practical, hands-on mindset with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently on site and collaboratively within a workshop environment
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally

What’s on Offer

  • £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
  • Daily allowances while working away
  • Paid overtime
  • All travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses fully covered
  • Permanent position with a stable and established machinery manufacturer
