Project Coordinator / Project Administrator / Engineering Administrator

A well-established engineering business based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator on a fixed-term contract until May 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, coordination and communication skills to support the delivery of capital equipment projects within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

The role would suit an experienced Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Project Support Administrator, Sales Administrator, Contracts Administrator or Operations Administrator who is confident working with senior managers, internal teams, suppliers and customers.

The Role

As Project Coordinator, you will provide key administrative and coordination support to senior managers involved in the delivery of capital equipment projects.

You will help ensure project information is accurate, documentation is kept up to date, schedules are tracked, and communication between departments, suppliers and customers runs smoothly.

This is an office-based position and would suit someone who enjoys being organised, detail-focused and involved in multiple projects at different stages.

As Project Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support to senior managers involved in project delivery
  • Supporting the scheduling, tracking and coordination of capital equipment projects
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, records and internal systems
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments
  • Helping to coordinate project updates, timelines and key actions
  • Supporting communication between engineering, purchasing, production and commercial teams
  • Preparing, updating and managing project-related documents
  • Chasing information where required to keep projects moving forward
  • Using Microsoft Office 365 to manage documents, spreadsheets, emails and project information
  • Supporting general engineering administration and project coordination activities

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and comfortable working in a busy engineering or project-led environment.

You may already be working as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Administrator, Sales Administrator, Operations Administrator or similar.

You will need:

  • Strong administration and coordination skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with suppliers, customers and internal teams
  • Competence using Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and keep information accurate
  • A proactive and organised approach to work

Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, capital equipment, machinery, projects or a technical environment is essential

Location

The role is based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and is office-based.

The position may be suitable for candidates living in or commuting from areas such as Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Solihull, South Birmingham, Longbridge, Rubery and surrounding areas.
