A degree-qualified Mechanical Design Engineer with nearly 4 years’ experience working on the design and development of special purpose machinery and complex mechanical equipment.
This engineer has a strong grounding in mechanical engineering design, with hands-on experience producing 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies and technical documentation. They are competent across Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks and AutoCAD, giving them flexibility to work within different design office environments and CAD platforms.
With additional exposure to FEA analysis, they are able to support design validation, component assessment and engineering problem-solving during the development of machinery and equipment.
Technical Experience
- Mechanical design of special purpose machinery and complex equipment
- 3D modelling and detailed design using Autodesk Inventor
- Experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design and assembly work
- AutoCAD experience for 2D drafting and design documentation
- Creation of manufacturing drawings, assemblies and technical design packs
